Product Designer

The role

This role is perfect for a passionate Product Designer who is looking to step up and sink their teeth into a range of B2B and B2C client applications in the Crypto/FinTech/trading space.

You'll collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of Product Owners, Business Analysts, Product Designers, Architects, Engineers, and other experts across the business and will be a crucial driver of the product vision.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

· Identify and solve problems creatively in an agile product environment

· Communicate ideas and solutions through collaborative whiteboarding, sketches, user flows and prototypes

· Create thoughtful and high-fidelity designs for responsive web, ready for development

· Contribute and help maintain our design system and style guide to promote a consistent user experience and brand identity

· Design branded illustrations, icons and other visual assets

· Validate solutions early and often through testing

· Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand technical feasibility, as well as ensuring that the designs are implemented correctly

· Stay across the latest design trends and techniques

Skills and Experience

Essential:

· 3+ years experience delivering design solutions for web-based systems and a strong understanding of design patterns for mobile

· Ability to produce aesthetically pleasing, quality design work

· A portfolio demonstrating your product thinking, UI, and prototyping skills

· Experience in producing high-fidelity designs and annotating specs for handover to developers

· Proficiency with Figma

Nice to have:

· Interaction design skills

· Interest in Crypto and/or trading

· Experience designing for financial platforms

· Basic understanding of HTML and CSS

· Experience using Whimsical or Miro

· Animation or motion design skills (i.e. Adobe After Effects, Lottie)
